the short version
rogaine exists to find you gigs, not to farm you. we collect the minimum needed to make the app work, we sell nothing to anyone, and you can delete everything in two taps.
what we store (only if you sign in)
- account: your Apple or Google sign-in identity (email, name if you share it) and a display name/photo if you set one.
- your gigs: events you save or import, and tickets you add — including ticket QR payloads so they render on your phone at the door.
- crew: friendships you make, and which gigs you're keen on / going to (visible only to accepted friends; switch it off in your profile).
- taste: the vibe tags you pick, so recommendations aren't random.
what never leaves your phone
- your location — used on-device to sort gigs by distance and centre the map. never uploaded, never stored by us.
- your calendar — rogaine does not read your calendar at all. the optional calendar feed is one-way: we publish your gigs to a private link; nothing comes back.
- your photo library — screenshots or PDFs you share are processed on-device to extract event details and ticket QRs.
who we rely on
- Supabase hosts our database and sign-in plumbing.
- Apple / Google handle authentication; Apple WeatherKit supplies the weather line.
- Deezer / Apple Music previews power artist photos and 30-second listens — lookups by artist name only.
- Resend sends the one welcome email when you make an account.
analytics & ads
none. no trackers, no ad SDKs, no selling data. if that ever changes, this page changes first and loudly.
deleting everything
profile → delete account. that removes your account, saved gigs, tickets, friendships and taste data from our servers, and revokes your Sign in with Apple token. gone means gone.
