Jay DZA (Baby Jay) is a Melbourne-based Latin percussionist, up-and-coming rapper & producer. Growing up in a musical household with rhythms from his parents' native Colombia inspired him to hone his skills as a musician studying bongos, timbales, congas and guitar. At the age of 14 he joined his first Latin band, eventually establishing himself as a freelance percussionist over the years with Latin bands from Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne as well as forming his own band Orquesta La 45; founded with his father and older brother.
