Sunset Avenue have been writing and performing together since 2023, but their roots run deeper. Beau Ward (Vocals) began writing songs in 2021 during lockdowns, using music as a form of self-expression. He grew up alongside twins Joshua (Bass) and Isabelle Mann (Drums), who have played together since childhood. The trio, raised in Kurnell, bonded by the sea before meeting Conor Phelan (Lead Guitar) in high school.
Since their debut single Change It Up, Sunset Avenue have played major venues like Oxford Art Factory and Metro Theatre, supporting UK’s Sea Girls and The Reytons, plus Aussie surf rockers The Terrys. Their singles Take Another Lap and Do You Feel The Same? have surpassed 540K Spotify streams.
As 2025 unfolds, their latest single Take Me Away marks a new era.
