Mad Vantage

Mad Vantage is the instrumental project of Melbourne/Naarm-based multi-instrumentalist/composer SOLUNE. The project is described as combining progressive metal with nu-jazz and electronics: synthesizers, distortion, ambient/electronic textures, complex rhythmic designs, and lush harmonic soundscapes. Messinis herself explains that the music explores overlaps between jazz and metal, odd time-signatures, groove, and patterns arising from her jazz and classical background. The project is based in Melbourne, Australia.
