As one of the most exciting new talents in the Australian garage scene, Charlie's obsession with electronic soundscapes began from an early age, where he could be found spending hours scrolling through Yamaha keyboard presets or listening to the reverb-soaked pads of Enya. Throughout his schooling life, Charlie kept his electronic music interests private while he spent time progressing through the grades of classical piano and alto saxophone. His ongoing secret obsession with 2010s EDM, from the likes of Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Flume and Virtual Riot, drew him into sporadic experimentation with FL Studio from around age 16. It wasn't until 2022 that Charlie began to sway towards alternative electronic music and took production more seriously. His self-released debut album, Carpe Diem, was inspired by the likes of BICEP, Duskus & Fred again.. and he eventually felt motivated to spend 9 m
