First listed in Happy music’s "Top 20 Aussie guitarists you need in your life" Paul Mason is one of Australia’s recognised and most celebrated guitarists. He began to garner acclaim as an instrumentalist from an early age when he won the rising star award at the generations in jazz festival . He is well known for his collaborative work with the likes of Jessica Mauboy and Timothy Bowen and has also fulfilled guitar duties for artists such as Clare Bowen, Vera Blue, James Morrison, Rai Thistlethwaite and Steve Clisby. He was also a semi finalist in the National Jazz Awards at Wangaratta. While still maintaining his steadfast reputation as an in demand session player it is his solo work and song writing that shines brightest.
