who are they, then

Formed in 2022 as an alternative rock disaster, Back By Unpopular Demand have since developed into a group incorporating elements of all of their favourite groups, namely 80's and 90's punk music, and playing shows in their local scene. They have supported groups like Satanic Surfers (SWE), Painters and Dockers and ebolagoldfish, as well as performing alongside local bands from the same age bracket as themselves. They have their own music festival(ish) put on by drummer Jason Lee which aims to support the All Ages scene in Sydney and promote local bands called "Demandfest." They incorporate comedy with genuine issues, like in "I Went To The Shop To Buy Myself Some Milk." It incorporates literally just buying milk with the cost of living crisis.
