Hailing from the east coast of lutruwita/Tassie, Flower Extract are a distinctly vandemonian indie-rock quartet who now operate between nipaluna/Hobart and naarm/Melbourne. Musically they create a sound that is unique yet familiar, and have a reputation for energetic, spontaneous, and occasionally nonsensical live shows.
On the streets they are known for their C-grade stage banter, B-grade indie-psych-rock, and A-grade friendship. Their typically Tasmanian, heads-screwed-on approach has seen them release a swath of music (including a 14 track extended edition of their debut EP - Natural Press), play some notable sets at festivals like Party in the Paddock, The Great Escape, and Bonzaki, and support mainlanders like The Grogans and Johnny Hunter.
They now turn their attention to bigger fish, with a list of 2025 new year resolutions
