Northern Lights are a five piece alternative rock band from Ipswich/Tulmur, QLD. The band have been blazing a trail around South East Queensland as well as touring the East Coast of Australia. Their music has appeared in film and television as well as making the 4ZZZ Hot 100. Frontman Dustin Schmidt was also recently selected by the Ipswich council to represent Ipswich at Bigsound on behalf of the band. Northern Lights are currently in the studio recording their debut album which is due for release in 2026. Higher is the lead single from their forthcoming debut album.
