Brisbane indie rock outfit SPACE&AGES have announced their debut EP Human Nature, set for release on July 8, alongside the arrival of its first single, “Anything (is it obvious)”, an upbeat, hook driven track that contrasts sharply with its underlying themes of burnout and self doubt.
Driven by chugging guitars and anthemic momentum, “Anything (is it obvious)” feels immediate and energetic on first listen. Beneath the surface, however, the song unpacks a far heavier reality exploring the pressure of growing up in a world that promises endless possibility, while often delivering confusion, comparison, and a sense of falling behind.
