After relocating The Bleeding Noses from Hobart to Melbourne in 2001, brothers Donovan and Callan Walker formed the harmonious high-energy bogan-power-boogie band The Swedish Magazines in Collingwood January 2002, now notorious in the local scene...if somewhat shit. In 2004 the band released their debut E.P What Doesn't Kill Me Makes Me Deadly to positive reviews: "The band rip up rock'n'roll with effortless aplomb...and a deep understanding of rhythm & blues..." (Andrew Tijs, Beat Magazine) & from Clem Bastow of Inpress Magazine "... a righteous tornado of party rock."
