Los HOUSEPLANTS F.C. are a psychedelic plantpunk BONK-rock 4 piece from Meanjin/Brisbane, AUS. Pushing DIY to its limits, their debut EP 'Are We Not Plants?' was recorded with smartphones on a (deranged) mission to grow the most infectious, sparkling, psych-pop possible on a whopping $0 budget. Produced entirely in-house and crafted so each song bleeds seamlessly into the next, their music oozes optimism while wrangling questions of world-ending denialism. Blooming with dreamy synth riffs, crunchy drums and acid bass, they blend psych and shoe-gaze genetics with lo-fi, danceable chaos. This year the plants have supported live acts like Sparta, The Empty Threats, Seaside and Majak Door.
