Mareya

Mareya is a Māori–Australian pop artist, producer, and songwriter born in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and now based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her music blends raw vulnerability with high-energy, genre-bending production, exploring mental health, identity, self-empowerment, and emotional resilience. Her 2024 single Need You Now reached No.1 on the Brazilian Dance iTunes Chart and charted Top 20 in Australia, alongside growing international airplay across Europe, the UK, and the USA. She has shared stages with artists including The Veronicas and Phil Ceberano, and toured nationally with DJ Morning Maxwell. Released via Tomboi Records, her 2025 EP Glitter Tears marked a significant chapter, receiving sustained US radio rotation across stations in Oregon, North Carolina and New York, contributing to a steadily growing international audience.
