After dropping debut track ‘Come, hold me’ in 2025 and the recent release of her second track 'Helen Scary’, Thornback's third single, 'Blur', functions as the final act of her upcoming debut album. Lyrically contemplative and sonically laid-back, ‘Blur’ muses upon the impermanence of relationships, likening it to the impermanence of life itself. Visceral imagery transports listeners to the familiar beach landscape referred to in ‘Come, hold me’ and functions as a response to questions posed throughout the upcoming album. The Naarm-based songstress decorates vulnerable lyrics with layered harmonies and lush arrangements that mirror the mesmeric themes covered within her works.
