Méja is a five-piece R&B, Funk, and Soul band based in Boorloo, WA. Originally a passion project by Deja Zoi and Matthew Eusebio, Méja has since grown in its members and in its sound, which is uniquely bold, soulful, and constantly evolving.
Inspired by the experimental sounds of Haitus Kaiyote, and classic acts like D'Angelo, Méja exploded into the Perth scene through their tight and funky grooves, rich harmonies, and soulful musical palate.
After forming in late 2025, the group has played in countless shows, opening for Jack Hamilton, Cate Sante, and Kenny Drives, garnering a growing fanbase. They are set to release their debut single "Rain Falls Down" in late 2026, the first track of a future EP. Méja have firmly cemented themselves in the Perth scene and they've only just begun.
