Val Moogz

Val Moogz is a non-binary singer-songwriter based on Brinja-Yuin Country, blending rock poetry, soul, and cruisy acoustic pop into heartwarming tunes that feel like a hug from your best mate. Cutting their teeth gigging around Sydney from age 16, they've since supported The Whitlams, Alex Lloyd, Ben Lee and Kingswood, and played stages from the Sydney Opera House to Cobargo Folk Festival. Their music—raw, reflective and unflinchingly honest—explores love, identity and belonging. With a debut EP on the way and new single Oh Beautiful dropping mid-2025, Val Moogz is all about storytelling with soul, joy, and a whole lot of heart.
