Collie Perfect is an experimental electronic musician based in Melbourne, Australia, with a proclivity for blending abstract sounds with techno, breakcore, and other rave-style genres. Collie Perfect's music is also characterized by a specific focus on modern resampling-based textures, club scene-style track structure, and a nostalgic nod to analogue hardware staples such as 909 drum machines, 303 acid basses, and mid-2000s polyphonic synthesizers. Collie Perfect's debut album "How To Be A Dog" was released in January of 2024, and featured 10 unique tracks that describe an emotional and driving narrative through an exploration of textures, soundscapes, and hypnotic beats. Their later release of their "NOTHING GOOD" EP in May of 2024 would showcase four more tracks, deviating from the more experimental roots of their album and focusing more on a rave-like upbeat sound.
