Matthew James Lyons is a singer-songwriter from Sydney who finds himself tangled within the strings that tie folk and country with melodic pop. Having written, recorded and performed for the past 25 years, Lyons is dedicated to the eternal pursuit of honing his craft. Initially inspired by Paul Simon and The Beatles, Lyons’ songs feature a distinct melodicism and unique wordplay.
