With psychedelic music at its core, People Taking Pictures (PTP) is a genre blending project, gathering multiple elements of alternative rock, indie, hip-hop, sampling, jazz and electronic music.
The project was initially formed in 2019 as the solo endeavour of Luke Parish, better known for his work with Perth based and riff driven alt rock band Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
Collaborations across four full length albums have seen features from Perth Mcs Mali Jose, POW! Negro (Superego, Myriad Sun) and Cruz Patterson (Koi Child).
2025 saw the formation of a 6 piece live band, the release of the 4th album 'Dialectics and national tour. 2026 is set to be another big year for the project with the first single 'These Days' dropping in March from their upcoming EP 'SOOP'
