The Halves 'Grace' Tour @ THE TOTE

Fresh off the release of ‘Trackstar’ and with more music waiting in the wings, The Halves return to The Tote (upstairs) for a special headline performance. Now firmly rooted in Naarm/Melbourne after forming in Meanjin/Brisbane, the four-piece have spent the last few years carving out a reputation as one of the city’s most exciting emerging alternative acts. Combining post-punk urgency with emotionally charged guitar work, their music thrives in the tension between chaos and catharsis. These tour dates mark the beginning of a new chapter for The Halves, who continue to push their sound into a darker, heavier and more confrontational territory than ever before. Joined by Propaine and chick, The Halves bring their hometown show to The Tote on 7 August to wrap-up a string of east coast shows.
