Miscellania presents 𝟏𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝, featuring the debut naarm show for contemporary ambient visionary 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐚. The brilliant Los Angeles based label 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 was founded by Jesse Sapell (𝐉𝐒), and has been an integral part of the connective tissue between a number of hard-to-define sonic spaces. The 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 sound is foggy, diaphanous, and hypnotic -- oozing between reduced dub textures, post-rock structures, trip-hop affine rhythms, and downtempo moods. It's slippery to define with words, but the sound of and the nebula it inhabits is quickly recognisable open listening.
