OzManouche 2026 presents The Date Brothers

From the gypsy campfire to the lowdown blues of New Orleans, the exuberance of a South American street party and the sophistication of an inner-city salon, The Date Brothers bring a world of musical influences to the OzManouche stage. And these guys can PLAY! The Date Brothers - Ian and Nigel Date - have a long history of playing guitar together, and their musical chemistry is unmistakable. For OzManouche 2026, they are excited to present their own special brand of guitar magic, drawing on the rich tradition of Gypsy Jazz while exploring sounds and influences from around the world. Expect dazzling improvisations, timeless classics, infectious rhythms and plenty of musical surprises. Sparks will fly, risks will be taken, and The Date Brothers will FIRE IT UP!
