Following a three and a half year break, Melbourne’s LOOSE BRICKS have made their return an impactful one, serving up their first taste of a new musical chapter with fresh single ‘ANOTHER DAY’. For the group of musicians and best mates, this is a stride forward into new territory, embracing maturity in both perspective and songwriting skills; pouring themselves back into the artistry that has earned them a strong following right around the country. Recorded at the band’s home studio in Melbourne, ‘Another Day’ is a prime example of the ease with which Loose Bricks are able to take inspiration from real life experiences, bringing them together with a sound that is all their own. “Our music pulls a lot of inspiration from real life experiences, struggles and hardship of depression and keeping the black dog at bay. Other themes focus on love and deep connection, falling in love, falling out and trying to navigate through this world as a young adult. The initial skeleton of the song is usually written by Levi on his acoustic guitar but just recently we have been in our home studio laying down ideas all together. We find that we end up having a more complete sound right from the first demo.” LOOSE BRICKS Loose Bricks have enjoyed significant growth over the years, evolving an electric live presence on stages around the country - headlining countless sold out shows and supporting acts including DICE, The Belair Lip Bombs, Kingswood, Hoodoo Gurus and more. With over 18 million streams to their name, Loose Bricks return rejuvenated and ready to build once more upon a tight foundation of music and successes that have gotten them to this point in thor journey. The band will be celebrating the release of ‘Another Day’ as well as previewing what is still in store, with a number of Australian shows this November.
