Zlatne 80e – Grupa Zana & Valentino, with Special Guests KNOT

Zlatne 80e brings two legendary names of Balkan ’80s pop and rock together in Melbourne for one unforgettable night. Headlining the evening are Grupa Zana, one of the defining pop and new-wave bands of the Balkan music scene. Formed in Belgrade in 1980, Zana have created a catalogue spanning more than four decades, including enduring favourites such as “Dodirni mi kolena,” “Mladicu moj,” “Majstor za poljupce,” “Vejte snegovi” and “Jabuke i vino.” Joining them are legendary Sarajevo pop-rock hitmakers Valentino, led by Zijo Rizvanbegovic. Since emerging in the early 1980s, Valentino have remained favourites with audiences across the Balkans through songs including “Oka tvoja dva,” “Volim te još,” “Samo sklopi okice,” “Bez tebe” and “Ne mogu, ne mogu.” Special guests KNOT will open the evening with a 30-minute set featuring Balkan pop and rock favourites.
