Whether it’s on the radio airwaves, behind the counter at a record store or behind the decks in clubs & festivals, Mike Gurrieri has been a permanent fixture in the Melbourne music landscape for over two decades. His wide variety of musical influence has given him a unique musical vantage point, from jazz in concert halls to thumping dance music in clubs, there are few scenarios Mike hasn’t found himself in front of from behind the decks. He has appeared at many of the top festivals around Australia, plus residencies in many of the finest clubs & bars around the nation’s music capital. As well as managing a demanding DJ schedule, Mike also hosts his weekly radio show ‘Mystic Brew’ which airs every Tuesday morning 9-11am on Melbourne community radio station PBS 106.7FM. The show focuses on new & forthcoming releases with a heavy emphasis on local & emerging artists.
