Big Black Maria - August 9th at Bar Open Big Black Maria will be bringing their walls of sound to Bar Open alongside Purrers and The Morning Birds.
Big Black Maria are a new, experimental rock band, utilising dynamics and destruction to curate a sound of their own. Drawing from post-rock, noise rock and post-punk, with an emphasis on rhythm, contrast and texture. Purrers are an ethereal shoegaze band from Melbourne.
Their reverb drenched sound is dreamy, beautiful and haunting. The Morning Birds are a noise rock band from Melbourne. Their sound is pulsing and noisy, with driving basslines and piercing guitar.
