Melbourne-based artist Maxine Gillon has made a name for herself through her expansive lyricism, accomplished classic songwriting, and distinctive guitar playing.
Her sound draws from 80’s Australiana, folk rock & western twang, creating an inimitable blend that’s all her own. Her work has drawn comparisons to Rowland S. Howard, Lou Reed & Pretenders.
