The band have been busy, with a new four-piece lineup, a huge run at the Echuca Winter Blues Festival and new music from their latest project, White Knuckle Time. Fronted by Phil Coyne and his wailing harmonica, The Wayward Aces aren’t interested in playing the blues politely. Their live show is energetic, raw and built to move a room — blues at the core, but with plenty of rock ’n’ roll attitude and a little surf-soaked swagger thrown into the mix. Previous releases have charted both here and overseas, with the band also earning a VicTas Blues Awards Band of the Year finalist nod along the way.
