Saturday, 5 September | Lefty’s Music Hall
From a remote Far North Queensland town to stages across Australia, award-winning country-folk artist Ella Hartwig brings songs shaped by life on the road, finding connection and the places in between. Her debut album Take Me South sold out its initial physical release, with Ella going on to tour Australia, Ireland and the UK.
August River Band bring a wild blend of folk rock, roots rock ’n’ roll and alternative rock, built around the chemistry of a tortured singer-songwriter, classically trained violinist and hard-hitting rock ’n’ roll drummer. Fresh from the release of The Earth We Dance On, they’re bringing friends along for a welcoming night at Lefty’s, with free entry.
Joining the lineup for the first time is Maddison Kate, delivering raw emotion through introspective lyrics, sweeping folk melodies and earthy tones. Following her 2025 debut EP What I’d Say To You, Maddison has performed at Brisbane’s iconic Princess Theatre and been likened to Joni Mitchell by INXS’ Andrew Farriss. She’s an emerging songwriter well worth keeping an eye on.
