Currently based in LA where he works on various projects including newest alias Sans Merit, via which he released an intriguing album titled "Early Grave”. This marked a significant departure from his familiar territory of house and disco, delving into the realm of lo-fi indie rock. Pitchfork hailed this album as an “intoxicating love letter to the eccentric records that the late John Peel might have championed”. FIO’s talents as a DJ and producer are second to none, and his return to Primer is a testament to his ability to craft unforgettable sonic journeys.
