Papa Smurf, one of this cities legacy talents, returns to Glamorama Saturdays. It’s been 51 weeks since Papa Smurf’s last Saturdays appearance and yet we still hear often from punters about that night. And it’s no surprise. In fact it makes sense that a true veteran of the scene can wave his hands over some CDJs and tattoo such an experience into the minds of our dancers. Since his last set, Papa has been busy defining his next chapter. Having sidelined the trance vinyl bag for masterful original productions in the melodic & techno realm, Papa Smurf has built a new following through consistent releases on his record label, MAJIK, alongside remixes of Franky Wah, Nandu, Mila Journey, and Adriatique. What Papa Smurf delivers is a premiere run of our Funktion-One system. An auditory delight awaits this Saturday at Glamorama.
