Faceless Burial, Aardvark, Involucro & Primeval Butcher at The Tote

Local death metal act Faceless Burial return to The Tote for the first time since their sold out 2025 shows with Iron Lung. Having just completed the recording of their fifth 12", they'll be debuting perplexing new riffs, physically taxing single-kick blasts, deepened pain, and even higher syllable counts per word. Joining them are this town's beloved hard rockers Aardvark, whose 2024 album Tough Love became a favourite among trad metal wizards and NWOBHM headbangers alike. Canberra/Brisbane blackened death-thrash enthusiasts Primeval Butcher make their live debut following two exceptionally strong self-released cassette demos. Featuring current and former members of Bloodmouth, Ploughshare, Vile Apparition and more, this is a highly anticipated first outing. Rounding out the bill are Involucro, a new configuration featuring familiar faces from Melbourne's hardcore and metal underground. With members of Sewercide, Geld, Enzyme and many more, they deliver utterly ripping, high-tempo Italo-hardcore in the vein of Negazione, Raw Power and Death Side.
