Victorian Gothic is a world of clandestine underground societies, aristocrats dining on delicacies from underworlds unknown while performing blood rituals in London sewers. Corsets and britches and heaving bosoms, fine suits, top hats, cumberbunds and pocket watches. And all of this of course imbued, garnished and a-cursed with your favourite demonic entities, eldritch gods and other lovecraftian horrors.
