Often heard broadcasting on the PBS 106.7FM airwaves or spied behind the counter at Northside Records, he is a committed thread in the fabric of Melbourne / Naarm’s music community. Stuckey operates the College of Knowledge Records imprint alongside Surprise Chef bandmate Jethro Curtin, issuing the recordings of the small enclave of musicians that constitute Melbourne’s burgeoning cinematic soul sound. As a DJ, Stuckey reaches deep into his collection of discs spanning soul / funk and assorted flavours therein.
