Labour Day Long Weekend, Carousel Sydney, DJ SWISHERMAN [ES], FUKHED, Deaf Toucan and dayzzi Gallery kicks off Sydney's long weekend at the city's premiere club Carousel this October 3rd with a multi-headline night. DJ SWISHERMAN is a Spanish DJ and producer whose relationship with music began long before the booth, carrying a Walkman around as a kid and never really putting it down. That instinctive connection has grown into a sound that moves between funk-driven hardgroove, techno and housier shades, always tethered to the energy of 2000s club music. His sets are built on groove, tension and progression, connecting tracks through subtle FX and tight transitions rather than obvious impact. Over recent years he's played RSO and Watergate in Berlin, Basis, Industrial Copera and Rote Sonne, Boiler Room Copenhagen, and dates across Vancouver, San Francisco and Australia including Intercell Melbourne, as well as Jeff Mills' Live at Liquid Room 30 Year Anniversary.
