As Sound Exchange clocks one year of air time on 2SER 107.3, you’re invited to celebrate with us for a night of music from some local + interstate favourites. Crank (Naarm) was a project conceived back in 2022 which has grown into an impressive rotating ensemble of jangly post-punk and spoken-word indie. Their self-titled album has been on high rotation in the Sound Exchange playlist since its release in July, so it feels very special to be able to host their Eora debut!
Hugh B & The Modern Pop Ensemble embody a side of this city’s musical identity that is equally laid back (as we should be, by the beach), gritty in their low-fi, jam-like recordings, and tender in the deep and soulful roots of both their own compositions and the covers they choose to perform. With Hugh being possibly the most shouted-out listener of Sound Exchange,
