K+Lab 'WAZ HERE' - Album Launch

“K+Lab Waz Here,” the fifth album, arrives with a hometown show shaped as a full-scope one-off experience. Heavyweight sound, visual worlds, art, community, and a lineup that moves through soul, hip hop and bass. This show is something Caleb (K+Lab) has wanted to bring to Melbourne for a long time. Now calling the city home, he wanted to create something properly curated, and something that reflects the sounds and ideas that shaped his journey. After a huge few years touring North america like a mad man, this feels like the right moment to bring it home and open the door to the world behind the new record. The curation draws from the influences that fed into the album. A blend of styles led by some of Melbourne’s most forward-moving selectors and vocalists, with special interstate guests joining in. K+Lab has teamed up with Whomp Events and Snake Pit Sound, long-time champions of Melbourne’s underground, to bring this show to life. Full lineup announcement coming soon.
