Horns Plus Big Band

With a classic 19-piece big band lineup, Horns Plus has been performing for over twenty years at a variety of jazz festivals, private and corporate functions, general admission gigs, charity fundraisers, and community events. Horns Plus showcases a wide range of jazz styles, from big band swing to contemporary numbers. Repertoire includes arrangements originally performed by Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Peter Herbolzheimer, and many more. They also feature hits made popular by Earth, Wind & Fire and Chaka Khan, along with several compositions or arrangements by Australia’s own Ed Wilson and Ross Irwin. Horns Plus is directed by renowned trumpet player Bob Coassin, whose long career spans the US, Europe, and Australia. Coassin has played with some of the biggest names in music, including Ray Charles, Buddy Rich, James Last, John Farnham, and James Morrison. Featuring with the band is vocalist Libby Haye
