Ahead of the Paper Cuts 10th birthday at Miscellania, we're hosting a special floor session featuring three experts in downtempo and ambient music. Mike Midnight is the moniker of Michael Gunson—an artist, musician, and DJ whose work drifts through the shadows between nocturnal electronics and emotive songwriting. Weaving together an expansive and ever-evolving palette of instrumentation and abstract sound sources, he creates music that unfolds as a cinematic, immersive tapestry—baroque in texture and suspended between angelic light and candlelit ambience. D-Grade is Maria Wang, a DJ and organiser based on Gadigal land in Sydney, Australia.
