AMPHI return to Wax Music Lounge this friday! Amphi is a Naarm-based DJ duo made up of Azita and Billy. The name "Amphi" combines form and is derived from the prefix meaning "of both kinds” or "around".Their sets delve into tech house, deep tech, and dubby grooves, weaving 90s and 00s melodies with contemporary sounds. Amphi focuses on expanding minimal soundscapes, challenging audiences to partake in drawn out sequences and cathartic releases. Together, they host the monthly radio show Audio Forage on Area 3000, a show in which they aim to connect community, explore the intersections of music, wellbeing and creativity through interviews, and showcase DJs and their unique sounds.
