The Genevieves are an Adelaide-based alternative rock band. The four piece occupy a sonic liminal space between dense, guitar heavy soundscapes and self-reflective, pop-derived melodies. Formed in 2023 as a solely collaborative project, the absence of a consistent ‘front-person’ illuminates all four creative voices, which manifests in their recorded work and live sets through ever-changing vocal combinations, writing styles, and a sense of unpredictability. The Genevieves–with ever-increasing national attention–are gearing up for a new single release in 'Sprinkler'.
