Who Cares? (Live), Moopie & Bayu

Tender presents a Friday evening of music in November: Who Cares? (Live) Naarm’s very own freak-folk four-piece drift onto the Tender floor, weaving whimsical lyricism with melodies that seem to hum from another time. Their self-titled EP appeared, almost without warning, last year - a quiet arrival that left us completely spellbound from the first note. Moopie & Bayu For the first (and surely not the last) time, we welcome local heroes Moopie & Bayu. When this night began to take shape, they were the first names that came to mind to complete the lineup - their 2017 compilation I Won’t Have to Think About You collects long-lost Australian indie-pop and acoustic jangle. While we can’t ever guarantee the direction these two will take a set, we know we’re in for a special selection of lovingly curated sounds.
