WOE PLAYS JAZZ Vol 1 (feat Hugo Turudia)

In preparation for his biggest tour yet spanning 2 continents in August, Andre Lew (Playlunch, Way Out East) has decided to put on the first volume of WOE PLAYS JAZZ, to both pay respects to the tradition and to make sure he's still working on it. Andre and his band will be playing a choice selection of standards, including tunes by Coltrane, Steven Grossman, Wayne Shorter and the late great Sonny Rollins. Joining him in the first volume of WOE PLAYS JAZZ is Hugo Turudia, a rising star in the scene, tearing it up as Horatio Luna’s sax player. They will be taking turns as Leibs and Grossman. Come hang before he leaves for 2 months, back for 2 weeks, then gone for a month again. Big things coming, and also big yikes.
