Lover with Lunar Lagoon and Paint

New Zealand alternative indie group Lover is a two-piece experimental indie project from long time friends Will Morris and Johnny Bullen, their dynamic, textured sound blends heartfelt songwriting with bold, layered production. They share new single ‘SHEEN’ which is due for release 12 June and the announcement of their signing to COHORT. Their previous singles include ‘Reason Two’ and ‘Get//The/Scene’ which generated acclaim from music journalist Harrison Waugh, rave triple j reviews, support from PBS FM, 4ZZZ, 2SER, Radio Adelaide and was playlisted on Apple Music’s New in Rock. Lover are entirely self-recorded and produced, drawing inspiration from artists such as Chanel Beads, Alex G, Oli XL, Mk.gee and Yves Tumor.
