Bistroteque and Bump Into present Bistro Bumpin’ - a special merging of minds and mates coast to coast. What better way than to describe Ernest and Young as serious stalwarts of the West Coast underground? As label heads of ONO Records, they’re responsible for breathing a new spark, energy and sense of collaboration into their coastal home, releasing some of the most forward thinking electronic music coming from this continent. As deejays, they plumb the depths of the multi-level mind dance - a holistic call to hypnotic drum loops, soul-touching sub-bass, and smoked-out peak-time heaters. As a doggedly defiant two-man DIY team, James and Warwick are dear friends, and we’re thrilled to host them for a special extended set in the Collingwood Basement on June 5. Bump Into head honcho Akane and Bistroteque maitre d’jays Hasan and Mintox round out the lineup.
