Keira J & the Mice are a jazz folk band scuttling around the Naarm scene, delivering heartfelt harmonies, and lovingly crafted, human songs. At a Mice show you’re sure to experience a luscious blend of genres spanning folk, jazz, and singer-songwriter elements, plus a splash of funk and dancey grooves. Marrying intricately thought out arrangements with playful improvisation, they concoct a uniquely captivating and immersive experience to be remembered. They’re inspired by mouselike endeavours (such as cheese) but also artists like Nick Drake, Lake St Dive, Esperanza Spalding, and Norah Jones.
