“35 years of monday night groove at rainbow – hammond organ, sax and drums locked in with guest talent who know the room”
event details
The Hammond Combo began playing gigs around Melbourne in early 1991 and started its association with Rainbow Hotel in November of that year.
The line up has remained unchanged over the journey with Paul Williamson on Saxophone & Vocals, Tim Neal on Hammond organ and Mike Jordan on Drums. The band has completed the quartet line up with a rotating 4th member, drafted from the abundance of extraordinary talent that has helped give Melbourne the well deserved reputation of the live music capital of Australia.
Monday nights at the Rainbow have often been a destination for many national & international guests keen to jam on a night off to an enthusiastic and musically literate crowd and in a relaxed and informal setting.
Due to limited seating you may be sharing a table with others.
