“intimate bedroom folk with phoebe bridgers energy - self-recorded, raw, and quietly devastating.”
event details
Alina Grace is the indie-folk project of Alina, an Australian, Blue Mountains-born singer/songwriter. Her debut album, Hardly Call It My Own, is a self-produced and deeply personal record, written and recorded on her laptop and single SM58 microphone. Blending unflinchingly intimate acoustic tones with raw, honeyed vocal inflections, Alina’s music is unhurried and deeply personal, moulded further by her DIY spirit and emotional clarity of contemporary indie-folk. With a sound that sits somewhere between the introspection of Searows and the intimacy of Phoebe Bridgers, Alina continues to perform across the Blue Mountains region, establishing herself as a distinct voice in the next wave of Australian indie-folk.
