Brisbane, La Festa è Tornata! (the party is back!) Get ready to eat, dance and celebrate Italian-style as FESTITALIA returns to Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds on Sunday, 20 September 2026. One of Queensland's most beloved cultural festivals, FESTITALIA brings together thousands of people for a vibrant celebration of Italian food, music, heritage and family traditions. For one day only, the RNA Showgrounds will transform into a bustling Italian piazza filled with authentic flavours, live entertainment and activities for all ages. Food lovers can indulge in handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, gelato, espresso, Italian wines and more than 10,000 freshly made cannoli. New attractions for 2026 include Ancient Roman cooking demonstrations and mozzarella-making experiences, while crowd favourite and world-renowned pizza acrobat Youssef Ben Touati returns to amaze audiences with his incredible skills. The entertainment program features opera performances, traditional Tarantella dancers, roaming performers, live music and interactive cultural experiences. Families can enjoy Italian games, historical displays, fencing demonstrations, vintage Italian vehicles and the ever-popular Nonna's Slipper Throw.
