the drunken poet keeps the music going most nights of the week, sliding between singer-songwriters, folk and blues, covers and the odd rock and roll night. open mic keeps a steady crowd of regulars cycling through, and names like pat mckernan, maggie carty and nick charles turn up again and again like old friends. fridays through sundays are when it really fills the calendar, and there's usually a door charge to get in, but that's the deal for a room that never really stops playing.
